Departure at 8:00 \u2013 8:30AM from your hostel\/hotel or at the Plaza de Armas.
\nIn San Clemante we can buy some water for the day
\nFirst we visit the Lago Colbun<\/strong>, one of the biggest artificial lakes in Chile.
\nAfterwards we continue to the private Tricahue natural park<\/strong>, where we visit a small museum of natural science<\/strong> and learn something about the Chilean local trees<\/strong> on a nature trail. With some luck we can see the parrots<\/strong> based in this area.
\nWe continue on th international mountain pass toward Argentina. We will pass the Chilean customs (Be prepared to show your passport. We DON\u00b4T<\/strong> exit Chile!) and arrive at the Laguna del Maule<\/strong> close the Argentina border on 2200 meters. There we will make an easy hike along the lakeside.
\nHighlight of the tour is the visit of the upper part of the nearly unknown and totally untouched rainbow waterfalls<\/strong>. 2 spectacular waterfalls, flowing over lava streams<\/strong> and falling 150m waiting for us. Walking over easy going area we will come direct to the edge.
\nTrip Highlight: Bathing on the Edge<\/strong>
\nAround 8 meters from the edge of the waterfalls is a basin in the river with calm water, where we can tace a dip with the stunning views of th surrounding mountains and the sound of the waterfalls and the knowledge that just a few meters away the waterfall dives into an abyss over 100 meters deep.
\nArrival in Talca about 6:30PM<\/p>\n

You should bring:<\/strong> head gear, sun cream, water, swimsuit and towel, passport, high spirits and of course your camera.<\/p>\n
